Honey Brown Lager

honey_brown"Truth: Honey is an aphrodisiac."

Honey Brown Lager was the natural choice as the feature beer for the first week. After all, I was drinking a honey brown when I got the idea to start this website.

Honey Brown Lager is a perfect beer to enjoy at a bonfire with friends, on vacation at the beach, or simply after a long day at work. It is not a light, watered down beer and it is not a heavy craft beer. Honey Brown is a perfect combination of flavor and drinkability. When the beer is poured, a faint aroma of hops and honey begins to fill the air. The beer is an amber color with a quickly dissolving white head. The pure Manitoba White Clover honey adds a touch of sweetness to the beer without overpowering the hops which leaves a pleasant, satisfying aftertaste.

Honey Brown has been brewed with the same formula since its inception in 1994. Only 10 years later, in 2004, it won a gold medal at the World Beer Cup (the olympics of beer competition.) Honey Brown spent a few years as a part of the Dundee lineup between 2008 and early 2010 before North American Breweries, who had taken ownership of Dundee Brewing Company brought the return of "The Original Honey Brown Lager" that we see today.
